Just a reminder, now that we are in quarter 3, we are working toward mastering all of our sight words as well as independently reading book level "Independent C" this quarter for reading in order to be on track for promotion to first grade. The goal for kindergarten is to be reading at a "D" Running Reading Record level independently with comprehension score of 5/7 by the end of the year. Please practice reading and sight words at home as many of our sight words are in our mini readers. You can also practice using markers, shaving cream, play dough, rainbow writing, or even painting.
